This cable kit includes three cables, and will support either an OROC to 8SFF SAS/SATA x1 Drive Cage Backplane, or 2 x Y-Splitter NVME x2 connectivity to an 8SFF Tri-Mode x4 Backplane. However this tool defaults to the first (8SFF SAS/SATA x1) solution, and therefore cannot also validate the 8SFF TM x4 Y-Splitter alternative. If 8SFF TM x4 is desired however, then it is suggested that PCIe Slot-in Tri-Mode controller and cable solution is selected instead.
